This is a 4* cruise line not a caravan site - of course they supply towels!! Just don't lose it when you go ashore otherwise you will be charged $25. Yes you can take soft drinks on board (I don't know why you would want to) but just slap a luggage label on the pack and it will be delivered to your room.

I thought the reason for this site was to ask questions and to get helpful answers, not surly ones like yours. New cruisers like me look on sites like this for re-views,tips and general info to help them decide what to do/pack/take etc. I hope there are more helpful people out there that will help, with a little more thought.

NOW, now A of N bit harsh with that one. However, he's right as usual, Yes, there are towels aplenty, in your cabins, on the pool deck and near the check out for the beach when you go ashore. You can if you wish bring soft drinks onboard with you and indeed should you so wish you can top up your supply at the ports en route but I wouldn't take too many on to start off with. Orange juice, fruit punch and lemonade are available from the self-service areas most of the time along with copious amounts of iced water, tea and coffee, and ice cream as well, all free. You enjoy your Silver Wedding celebration which ever way you want too. .... Ida.

Hava a great silver anniversary onboard.be sure to take proof.ie marriage cert and you may get a cake or something from the crew...........they do however only recognise certain wed anniversary yrs...if you check on the RCI website and go to celebrations etc you may find out there......we had our 33rd wed anniv last oct on the freedom in miami.but they didnt think that was one of the important ones.however as it was my brthday too .hubs got them to decorate our room....(room attendant) and also got a cake sorted........was lovely. As allready said no leave your towels at home......they have thousands.......as for juices..........i wouldnt bother either......plenty onboard for free........Do what we did.breakfast time theres loads of different drinks in the windjammer.....grab a couple and take them with you...........or the cafes on the promenade have never ending fill ups.......buy a soda package if its offered....worth it if you top up at least 2-3 times........bon voyage.......Sue.

By Rosie Taylor

Summer holidays are nearly here!Summer is just round the corner! Dont panic if you are still to book your cruise holiday, there are still places available but you will need to be quick.Yesterday there was a drizzle of snow on my conservatory roof when I woke! Brrrr I hope it warms up soon.We all enjoy sunshine and families prefer heading to the sunnier destinations.Mediterranean cruises are the most popular. Sailing out of the UK is also popular and the number of ships sailing from Southampto...

This Is A Really Good Deal But...

By Camilla Edwards

Camilla Edwards's blog

Price is obviously a huge factor when booking and cruise or holiday, so looking through the deals on our website 599 per person for a 10 night cruise looks like a really good deal. A look at the itinerary though might make you think it`s a bit cold in this region in December.P&O`s Aurora is one of her much loved older, smaller by today`s standards, ships. This itinerary sets sail on 6th December 2017 and calls at Hamburg, at 2 day stop in Copenhagen, Olso, Amsterdam and Zeebrugge for Bru...

A Majestic Atrium the heart of the ship.

By DJ Weatherall

DJ Weatherall's blog

Majestic and her stunning atrium is the heart of the shipThe Plaza on Majestic is on Deck 5 – from here you can access 3 decks either by marble staircase or Panoramic Lifts – it is without doubt the heart of the ship. There are restaurants and bars, cafe’s and lounges, speciality tea and coffee takeaway or sit down areas and the all important shops.I know some lines prefer to have a royal promenade that runs along the centre of the ship – but Majestic just like Royal a...
