I once went into Amsterdam for something as soon as we docked, and came back for breakfast, then got ready for a day ashore. I've seen someone land from a tender boat, realise they've left something behind, and take the next tender back to the ship. No problems!- Jo.

You are free to get off when you want and return when you want as often as you want - just make sure you are back on board at the stated time prior to sailing or you will be left behind. The ship waits for NOBODY! The only exception is if you are on a ship's excursion - then they will wait for you!

Are you going on the 9th May? Weve been to that canaries on a cruise and the ports are pretty good and close to the town so you don't have really far to walk however there are usually taxis near the port if you need to go somewhere specific and yes you can get on and off the ship as many times as you want.
