At the end of the M3 motorway is the Hilton Hotel at Chilworth. There you can get a room, dinner, bed and breakfast, car parking for up to 14 days and transport to and from the dock for £150 to £170. (I am reliably told that a little negotiating with the receptionist could get the price, on certain occasions, a little lower. Hope that helps....Nei.

We are also going on the cork cruise (Independence of the seas) we are staying in the holiday inn which is alongside the dock. The parking is about 60 pound and accomodation is cheap. It is the ideal location, as we will just simplily walk onto the ship instead of the risk of getting stuck in traffic.

My husband and i have recently returned from a cruise on Symphony of the Seas to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary and without a doubt it was one of the best cruises we have done. We arrived in Barcelona on 27th April and had one night at the Onix Liceo Hotel which is centrally located about half way down Las Ramblas on a side street, and is a great location for a pre cruise stay if you are looking for something central. We took a taxi to the port the following morning where the check i...
