Smith - Answered a Question by mathieson (09 Jul 13 19:52)

I have just come home from a cruise on Navigator. We had my time dining but I was quite disappointed with it as the idea was for us to choose our dining time but in reality, even though we booked all our times at the start of the week we still didn't get when we wanted as they said they were full. Also we asked to sit with others but this only happened on two nights. Next time I'd book for a certain sitting. Have a good time.

It may be because you have booked late that all the my time dining has all gone, if its what you want then I suggest when you get on board,go to MDR and see the Maitre'd, there will be others as well wanting to change i'm sure...just remember if you go my time you will have to pay your gratuities, just saying as many don't...Brian.

Thanks for the answers. We booked direct with RCI, so will call them to query this. We have pre-paid gratuities anyway, as it appears to be compulsory now, regardless of dining arrangements.

A Right Royal Caribbean Dress ...

By Hannah Wilson

P&O and Cunard have done away with semi-formal evenings and now just have Formal or Casual attire while Celebrity have introduced Evening Chic which is really evening casual by another name. The latter is proving especially popular with men who no longer have to find room in their suitcase for their dinner suit, also those who hate formal attire when they are on ho...

Celebrity Edge is on its Way

By Robin Clarke

Robin Clarke's blog

So the brand new Celebrity Edge has now gone on sale for her maiden voyage on the 16th of December starting her Caribbean voyages where she will be based in Fort Lauderdale. This ship is like no other at sea with so many fantastic new amenities on-board such as the new infinite balconies which even I was blown away by this. The balcony itself is now within the cabin and has a separator if you wish to use it to separate the balcony from the cabin. You then have a switch that you can push that ...

New Ban hits flights from UK ...

Julia Rhodes's blog

We have all been horrified by the news recently of the terror attack that took place in Westminster and in particular on Westminster Bridge. It was devastating to hear that a Police Office lost his life along with other innocent people who were walking on the Bridge that day. They say the attack took 86 second in total but will have a lifetime effect on many. My Brother in Law works in the Houses or Parliament and, in his words, was told to run for his life when the attack was taking place ne...
