This is the general feedback from others but the liklihood is that Princess will have to go with the flo and like the others give you a credit on your seapass account, how much that will be can or could depend on the price of a barrel of oil the week before you join the ship. I know already when we cruise in a few month time this is what is on offer to us but no info yet on how much the credit will be worth but that might be answered when the tickets arrive ?

We are travelling on Grand Princess in March and have already received a refund via our cruise agent - this happened shortly before Christmas.

We are travelling on Coral Princess on 22nd March and we have recieved a new invoice with the fuel suppliment taken off. It ammounts to £70 per couple. We have to pay our final balance this weekend so maybe if you had already paid your invoice you might get an onboard credit instead. Hope this helps.

We paid our final balance on 13 December and then a few days later received a call from our agent regarding the refund. This has been paid back into our bank account and an amended invoice has been received. Our embarkation date is 13 March.

Hi, we are travelling on the Grand Princess on the 13th March and have paid our full balance. My daughter is a manager wit Thomas Cook whom we booked the trip. I asked her to ring them on Thursday as I had not recieved any word from them as yet re the refund. They said they will send on an amended invoice and refund the difference. I asked if they would just give us this as onboard credit but they do not seem able to do this. Enjoy your cruise.

Indy to get a makeover

By Kerry James

So in the last week some exciting news for Independence of the Seas fans has emerged – and it appears Royal Caribbean might be building bigger ships with new innovations on them, but they are also committed to re-innovating their older ships such as the Independence of the Seas. When the ship goes into dry dock in April 2018 there will be a number of new features added such as a trampoline park – the first one at sea (these do seem to be now becoming popular in the UK – my ho...

Over the years you may have read my blogs about my friend John who has been wrongly imprisoned in India. His ordeal started back in 2013 when he, along with 35 other crew members were arrested and imprisoned for fire arms offences whilst serving as anti piracy guards off the India coast. After 6 months in Jail the case against them was dropped when it was proven the men did have all the correct paper work and no offences had been committed. However, the India authorities refused to give them b...

What is the dress code?

By Rosie Taylor

Rosie Taylor's blog

This is a question that comes up quite a lot when deciding which cruise to book.It really does depend on the cruise line. The general rule is 2 formal nights per week. How formal is formal? Well, this is a good question because recently a customer of mine came home from a cruise with Royal Caribbean and even on the formal nights some people where really casual. Trousers and polo shirts. Not even a shirt and tie!It seems that Royal Caribbean have really relaxed the dress code.Celebrity cruises ...
