I agree with Neil. Jamaica is one of the very few places that cruise ships dock where you should not do your own thing.

I agee too! we went last year and we were going to do this and plus etc but thankfully we were soo amazed by the beauty of the ship etc we forgot were we where! next day we were horrified whe we heard of theb mishaps i e muggings ( serious enough to witness a few plastered arms{ only on the men they must have been saving partners etc} any way we have def pre booked princess cruise this year as it is won of our ports, besides this you will have a wonderful time .

Depends on your flight times but do have a care, it is not the best spot to wander around, I'm game for a lot of things but not for a walk in Montego Bay at least not far from the port gates, trust me. .... Neil.
