Never cruised with princess before RCl we cruise with but with them everybody wears what they want.
Some people dress up at night some people still go around in their shorts and trainers theirs no dress code unless you go into the main dining room where it has specific nights - formal/smart casual/casual.
Hope this helps you.
Please read the cruise questions and answer on either web site or brochure and you will get your answers. jeans are a def no no how ever trendy or expensive on formal nights. Just close your eyes and imagine how 007 youn will look in your matlalan tuxat £30!!!!!!!!!!
To true on formal nights 99% of men are dressed black tie and the ladies have the wow factor so put your jeans and trainers on and you will feel embarrassed even on informal nights.
If you want eat in the main dining room, you comply with the dress code of the day. If you want to eat 'Dinner off a Tray' style then you won't be alone in jeans & trainers.
Go on ... push the boat out and wear "smart trousers" otherwise you'll look like the blokes pushing the boat out and wearing jeans and trainers. If you are really feeling rash wear a shirt too. ... Neil.
Just returned from first cruise on grand princess and only saw a couple of people wearing jeans and trainers and this was in the buffett late in eve otherwise saw lots of chino type trousers with deck shoes and smart t shirts or shirts.
No jeans or trainers in restaurants. If you want to wear jeans and trainers [Americanified] then go to the buffet on an evening.
