Balconies are always a great option. When you book a cabin the things to watch are:- is it next to a lift (could be noisey if so), is it near the centre of the ship (if so it will not rock as much as you will be closer to the centre of gravity). Also better to be in the middle, as at the back if you're too close to the engines, coming into port will be a vibrating experience, and at the front and back you may hear the anchor or lines being cast when docking (quite annoying if your trying to sleep). Generally princess balcony rooms are very goo.

Aloha and Baja are better than Caribe in that the balcony opening is larger. If you look closely at a sideview of the ship you'll see what I mean. Any balcony is good, but the bigger opening is bette.

Yes we were on the same ship, same cabin type in the Caribbean at Easter and could not fault it! The cabins are not enormous but are extremely clean and more than adequate. The ship is brilliant- you will surely enjoy it! Bon voyage!
