Really excited, so many new experiences to look forward to. The cabins do have dividing screens but don't know how high they are. What deck are you on we're on Caribe.

That just reminded me we need a spare bag for toiletries and clothes on last evening, we have to leave our packed cases outside the room on friday evening so we need a spare bag for that as well. I keep having dreams about forgeting our passports and turning up with empty suitcases. I thin we all need a holiday!

Do you think they care how many bags you have got ?. At the moment both hubby and I have a large suitcase and a holdall each. I also have a smaller carry on bag. Now I have read that it's a good idea to take a hairdryer as the ones they have arn't very good , so thats another thing to fit in. I havent even packed my dresses yet.

We've got five suitcases, one carry on bag so far, don't think there's a limit just pity the poor porters. I never go anywhere without my own hairdryer, but I've nowhere left to put it at the minute. Oh and my husbands suit carrier as well! There's no way I could ever pack to go on a plane, good job I don't do flying. Just be glad when it's Saturday morning and I can't pack anything else.

I'm glad I'm not the only one with loads of stuff. They only sent us 5 lables for the bags. What do you do if you have more than that. I tried to lift my suitcase last night and it won't move.I will have to unpack again and see if there is anything I can leave behind.I have to finish tonight as we are going to my daughter in portsmouth on friday and then they will take us to the ship on sat.We are in b606. If Iv'e got it right , from reading on here, we get there and go straight to the pursers desk to check our acc and buy soda and coffee cards. then lunch then unpack, What time are you getting there. We are hoping for about 1pm.The other thing I must find is the smoking area.We are on anytime dinning , are you.

My neighbour got me some extra luggage tags from the Post Office, I have'nt tried to lift ours yet! We are in C528 on second sitting fixed dining. I've got the same list, except I need to also check our dinner sitting. We are hoping to get there between 12.30 and 1.00, there's meant to be lots of road works around Southampton but I read somewhere it's best to come from M27 Portsmouth so you should be ok.

MUSICAS PORTS OF CALL.

By Nicola Milligan

Last time I told you all about the ship so this week we will talk about the reason we actually chose this cruise, it’s itinerary. I have been to Venice a few times now but the sail away never loses it’s excitement for me. When standing on deck I still get goose bumps as this massive ship glides slowly past all the major sights of this charming city. So close you can see into windows and see the faces of the lovers sailing on the romantic Gondola rides. It is unbelievable at how c...

How Fred Olsen compares

By Charlene Thackeray

Charlene Thackeray's blog

We are recently back from our first Fred Olsen cruise.Whilst this is the smallest ship we have been on as a family there were lots of great things and a few not so great things for us. We knew there would not be much for Charlie on board however he had a great time with all his new friends from the Entertainments team. I can honestly say the entertainment team were really friendly and put on some great shows. I loved how the stage rose in the Neptune lounge making it a great area for lots of ...
