Neil and Ida Down - Answered a Question by McMillen (28 Apr 08 14:49)

Pacific Princess was one of the R ships and as such is one of the nicest ships around. The three ships owned by Oceania, Nautica, Insignia and Regatta and Celebrity's Azamara Quest and Journey are of the same family so if you want to check look at their reports. I am almost certain that Pacific Princess was the Minerva II run by Swan Hellenic and I have been on her and loved every minute of her. I can only see pleasure onboard for you so don't worry ....Nei.

My wife and I spent 3 weeks on this ship in February 2008, we enjoyed the intimate style and preferred it to the large ships also on offer, review is at /cruise-reviews/read/review_c5242/ Hope this helps. Steve.

It seems Royal Caribbean are not just building new ships and refurbishing existing ships but also investing in a $200 million overhaul of their private island Coco Cay. I think this is the best thing that the cruise lines have done in a while and for multi generational family holidays gets a massive thumbs up from me .The 125-acre beach hideaway will be renamed ‘Perfect Day at CocoCay ‘ It will be rolled out in phases, beginning September 2018 and the completion by November 20...
