We have used Insure and Go in the past...very reasonable ...but now use Travel Insurance Direct (website is www.travelcover.co.uk) as they cover our medical problems without too much extra premiums...we are 60 and 65.

We are on the Sea Princess on the 8/12, we do our insurance through Atlas Travel, they are very reasonable, we have used them for the past four years and normally buy a yearly policy, especially if you think you might do more than one trip in the year. We are 59 and 60. Hope this helps.

If you don't have any pre-existing medical conditions, try ASDA. We insured with them 2 years ago and although my husband's med. con. was taken into account, it only cost us £44 for the two of us, for 12 day med. cruise.

Try your own bank as they do travel insurance, we always do ours through the bank, we even put the children on with there's. We dont have to pay for our's but we do have to pay for the childrens, its only about £20 ish per child.

Thanks to morris,I have been very frustrated at not being able to insure online as my husband is diabetic, therefore we have been left on telephone hold for long periods of time and then quoted very inflated rates.Just insured on line at reasonable rates with no extra charge for this medical condition.

Last weekend I completed in the London Moonwalk – what an amazing but very emotional experience. Our group The Girls from the Ditch meet at 5pm where we had arranged for a mini bus to take us all down to London. We had to be in Clapham Common for 9pm so we had plenty of time to get down there. The day didnt quite go to plan for my sister who was joining me on the walk, her Grandson decided to come 2 weeks early and arrived at 2.30 in the afternoon, so after being up since 4.30 Sa...
