Both St. Thomas and St. Maarten are good for shopping. Main street on both islands are loaded with shops and because there are so many shops they are very willing to bargan on price.

We did this cruise at last Christmas. St Thomas had lots and lots of shops all duty free, but St Maarten was in my opinion nicer and no more expensive.
