cunane - Answered a Question by JONES (26 Mar 08 21:27)

Thats why I love Cunard there is never any of this nonsense what to wear and what not. It's clearly stated in the pre voyage info.. Come on Mr Jones is this question a joke or did you want to see how many answers you could get ? .. I have to give it to you I think you've got the highest score I ever seen.. If you still want to wear your jeans then go with Mr Young of London and take a trip on NCL... paul :.

Casual is billed as smart casual, so no jeans.

On your own head be it to wear any sort of jeans in the dining room. I can hear them sharpening the daggers as I type.

Tavill - Answered a Question by JONES (10 Aug 07 17:59)

I think it really depends on your definition of smart jeans some jeans cost £100 quid and look worn and faded. I have seen people wear very smart jeans on casual night and certainly your shirt would dress them up more together with smart casual shoes (not trainers however smart). It is nice to dress up but it is also nice to see the difference between casual, informal and formal nights - some people make the mistake of wearing the same type of clothing for all nights.

Custance - Answered a Question by JONES (10 Aug 07 18:41)

I would hope not! Jeans in the casual restaurant - no problem, but would you wear jeans to a black tie dinner dance? Standards are dropping enough - let's keep some semblance of British Cruising Style Left - or go on the Ocean Village AKA Butlin.

Not if you wish to remain in the dining room on P&O. The jeans would have to be black and extremely well disguised but you are still unlikely to sucee.

Were Turning Japanese!

By Collette Apak

Over the last couple of years we have seen a huge rise in the number of people booking cruises that visit Japan. Maybe it’s the fact that many people have done the Mediterranean & Caribbean itineraries and are now wanting to look at somewhere different or whether a certain Joanna Lumley has prompted people’s interest after her TV series? Who knows? But in answer to this demand we are celebrating all things Japanese this week. I would certainly like to take a trip there and see...

What Is Your Number One Priori...

By Freddie Moser

Freddie Moser's blog

So since finding out recently that I am going to become a dad for the first time (which I am probably foolishly ecstatic about), my priorities in life have taken something of a change of late! When I found out a couple of months ago, I started to look at my life. Where I was, what I have achieved, and what kind of future I wanted for my wife and imminent child. This little bit of soul searching has initially made me fixate at cash flow, which I’m sure is not unusual! So I have thrown myse...

Tell me what is on your Bucket List

By Lee Johnson

Lee Johnson's blog

Over the last few years here at www.CRUISE.co.uk we have seen the cruise industry change massively. Gone are the days when a simple cruise will suffice, people are now wanting more from their cruise. We are seeing a steady rise in the requirements to do a land stay prior to the cruise (or after it in some cases). Not only that but people are wanting tours and particularly escorted tours that really give an essence of that region. Our most popular package of the last few years has undoubtedly been...
