8 of us left Southampton for a 2 night break to Bruges. By Saturday evening my husband had contracted it so we were both confind to our cabin, hours later another member of our party went down with it so they were also confind. We had to be escorted from the ship Sunday morning. By the time we got home another member of our party had also gone down with it! Very bad virus - continuous vomiting and dioreah. All had to have injections from doctor to stop vomiting and we had to pay £78 for the priviledge! Do not recommend going!

Although in reality it is not really totally river cruising as the ships have been sailing from a UK port – Dover or Southampton.German Waterways sails ...
