BLYTH - Answered a Question by Carnegie (11 Nov 08 08:58)

It is the new airline weight although it has been in place for sometime now. We have found for the two of us we get away with 3 cases and we weigh them in around 18kgs each and so far no excess has been applied or mentioned. Others might comment on this issue.

I'm on the same trip and I noticed it said 25kg. I P & O and they have said it is out of date information and it is 23kg. we are going to make use of the carry on allowance to bring a few bits that way.

We've just come back and it is 23kgs per person (Thomson flight to Gatwick) although it did say 25 in P and O literature. We found it was easy to keep within this limit....I took 3 different formal outfits and John took suit and blazer/smart shoes etc. we also took too many clothes and were still under 23kgs ....we could hardly lift the cases anyway so wouldn't have been able to carry any more!!!!
