If you really need to contact her and the ship is not near land, phone her via the cabin phone. You have to phone0800 917 1584 (uk only) you will have to provide credit card no. and expiry date. You will then be asked to provide the ships name as well as your name and the cabin no. the call will then be directed to their cabin. Only upon connection with the ship will charges commence. Calls will be charged at Ł3.00 per minute no matter where the ship is. Only phone when you think she will be in cabin getting ready for Dinner. Failing that, wait while the ship is very near land or docked. Then you will be able to contact her on her mobile. (Possibly) Good Luck!

Wilba - Answered a Question by jones (01 Nov 08 12:33)

If the ship is at sea she will not receive a signal. Try when the ship is in port. (check P&O's website to find the port days) Regards Wilba.

I think that Wilba has got it right. When you are at home you can seldom be found without a cell phone on if not stuck to your ear. When you are cruising, even if normally it is second nature not to be without it, no one walks around with a phone, it's a completely different regime. So she's probably having a whale of a time somewhere and not caring about anything whereas you are doing what everyone seems to do here, and being totally reliant on a contact. Why don't you send her a text and then when she thinks about it she might read that. Just think about the carefree life she's leading.......Neil.
