Neil Down - Answered a Question by tabor (09 Aug 08 20:59)

I don't know of any ship which provides a laundry basket, folding or rigid, most folks take their laundry to the laundrette in a laundry bag or two and they are provided in your cabin. Do you know I have even seen people carrying laundry, and I know this is difficult to believe, wrapped up in a gentleman’s shirt and once in a woman's nightie, but she was a brazen hussy. ... Neil.

Tut, tut Neil, very naughty, you know you shouldn't make such comments, you'll be upsetting the more sensitive cruisers viewing the site. Am I the only one that can't understand why some people want to spend their holiday in the launderette? Regards Jan .

Now Jan, did I hear you making a judgemental proclaimation on others actions whilst at sea. I probably shouldn't have had that extra glass of the red stuff this evening, should I? But I have had some fun and I hope that it is not lost on too many. ... Neil.

I am not a brazen hussy and it was a very nice nightie.

I actually know a brazen hussy who lives in 'combe but the name was definitely not moor, that's the only word she said though my dear. Neil.

As you read this blog post, I will be heading down to Southampton to board the Royal Caribbean Independence of the Seas for a 2night mini cruise over to Le Havre!I booked this cruise as a treat for my other half and little boy who is 4.5yrs old. He knows what mommy does for a job and has really wanted to go on a ‘big ship’ like mommy does. He is super excited and counting down the sleeps! The Indy is currently undergoing a refit to add on some amazing new things to bring it u...

The Independence of the seas has had it’s make over and has been refurbished whilst in dry docks throughout April. As you read this I would have spent my first night on board.I have been on the Independence of the seas before but this was way back in 2008 and it was a travel agent pre-inaugural sailings for two nights. I can still remember it so I’m really looking forward to being on this ship again. I like the Voyager and Freedom class of ships from Royal Caribbean. They just fe...

I am currently on the Independence sailing today 15th May for a 2 nights cruise. The Independence of the Seas was build and launched in 2008Royal Caribbean gives a refit to all their ship at around the 10th year anniversary. The sister ship Navigator of the Seas has had her make over last year and looks beautiful proving to have become the new favourite until now. The Independence has had her multi-million pound makeover this year and will be setting sail looking glamorous for the first time ...
