James - Answered a Question by Dilley (26 Jan 09 22:34)

Parent company Carnival decided to redeploy, the two ships of subsidiary company Ocean Village to Australia. The first is due to arrive in Australia in time for Christmas 2009, and the other transfers 1 year later following the winter season 2009-2010 in the Caribbean, and summer season 2010 in Europe/Mediterranean. The first ship will cease cruising for the UK market at the end of summer 2009..................Hope this helps .

Hi as yet (I have to be careful what I say or else it could be come, much debated!) Carnival has not announced that any ship(s) will be replacing OV, however, there is much speculation , try searching cruise answers with the key words OV3, and read the posts with most comments, this should provide you with some idea of what commentors think might happen.

Does this mean that there will be no cruise ships for people who dont do cruises after 2011 from the uk???? surely there was a big market. so why have carnaval pulled out of this market.

The answer is book early! Book now for 2018, if you leave it to nearer the time not only will the prices climb but you are unlikely to ge...
