JAMES MARTIN has a special restuarant on OV1 and OV2, these are usually booked as soon as you board, they will have a display and person ready to take your booking. (you can see details on OV web page). Sister in law had a great 80th birthady celebration in there on OV2. Have a great time, we always do .

Normally when I make our booking I advise we have a special celebration and usually during dinner a cake arrives after the meal is over and the waiters in about 5/6 dialects sing Happy anniversary you can also book a meal in the special restuarant if OV has this, don't know as I have never travelled with them but perhaps someone will advise you further, but food for thought !!

I agree with PLAIN, although we were not lucky enough to book the Jame Martin restaurant, i would recommend it as everyone who did were very pleased with the food and service, although i would recommend that you book a table as soon as you board the ship, as our rep asked us when we went to a meeting at our hotel and assured us that he would take care of the booking for our 25th anniversary but unfortunately he forgot. Just join the queue, if you speak to you tour operator you should be able to find out if James is sailing and you will get a chance to have your meal prepared by himself.

A Port guide to Le Havre

By Trevor Smith

Next time I think I will get off and explore, weather permitting. Here is what I missed and what you could do when visiting this lovely French Town.A Taste Of Normandy Unlike the rest of France Normandy is blanketed in apple orchards instead of vineyards. For centuries these apples have been used to make a bubbly fermented cider and distilling that cid...

Me, my husband and my two children have just returned from a long weekend away in Southampton and on the Celebrity EclipseThe cruise was only two nights so I though to extend our little holiday by spending two nights in Southampton before the sailing and take them to a theme park. So we took them to Poulton Park which I highly recommend to families with young children. Great for 2 years old and up to the age of 6 yrs. Here we saw Peppa pig at Peppa pig’s world where all the themed attra...

Fancy a Movie Night in or Away?

By Haydn Jones

Haydn Jones's blog

There is nothing my family love more than cuddling up of a Sunday night , curtains closed, eating microwave popcorn and watching a movie. Its become a Sunday night tradition in our house. Although there is something my two boys love slightly more – movies under the stars on a cruise. We often end up missing the shows and evening entertainment, because for them this is the perfect treat. Sun loungers, blankets, hot chocolate and even pop corn and pizza bought to you whilst watching a fil...
