I have just returned from the Mangoes and Monkeys trip and thoroughly enjoyed it. The ocean Village is a brilliant company to travel with if you don't like the formality of formal cruises. The staff are very friendly and cannot do enough for you. The food was very good also, with plenty of variety. The only advice I would give is to choose a mid ship cabin because our cabin was the last one on the 6th floor at the front of the ship and when the ship arrived at port at around 6.00 a.m. the noise was horrif and woke us up every morning. This noise continued until around 8.00!!! The trips offered are very good value for money, especially the kayaking and swim with turtles. The only port most people disliked was Guadeloupe but you did not have to leave the ship. When you research the price of the flight to Barbados you will see that the cruise is exceptional value for money. I have been on 2 previous cruises and enjoyed this one most because all the passenagers are english so there is no language barrier. Even in the evening at the night club all the crew attend. All in all it was a most enjoyable week and hope to go again before the ship goes to Australia.
