We went on Ocean Village 2 - June 07,also cruiseed on no: 1, lovely cruise ship, newly fitted out, well laid out in some respects better than no 1 although same decor as No 2. Casino was in better location than no 1, were able to have a drink in a disco atmosphere as well as gambling if thats your thing. Had a thoroughly enjoyable holiday, not a moment to spare on board, lot going on.

We cruised on OV2 in May 07, and were very disappointed with the ship. Unfortunately there was a stomach bug outbreak midweek which resulted in all passengers having to be served by the staff which was more like a school canteen dinner line, and the choice of food was cut dramatically. We also had to use an antiseptic gel wherever we went, had this been done from day 1,the bug may have been prevented. The entertainment was average with the exception of Jaki Graham and Mick Hucknall Tribute act. We would not cruise on this ship again, we didn't find it as friendly as the Island Escape.

We have been on OV1 twice in te last year and were on OV2 in June.We found OV1 to be far better.Much more room on the upper decks and a better lay out.OV2 seems to have had a quick face lift rather than a refit we found every aspect of OV1 to be better with the added perk of a cinema. We like many before us suffered a flooded cabin and out of order lifts. OV have belatedly offered us a nice discount of another cruise which we will use on OV1 We did not find anyone on board that prefered OV.

Went on ov2 in june had a fab time, entertainment was good service was good cabin clean well looked after, the staff every were were all so very nice, the only fault was the sun deck with the sun bed pinchers with there towels, but you get that from selfish people werever you go,people were getting up at 7am to save a sun bed(sad people )overall we had a realy good cruise and we are booking to go again with ov2 next year.

Ocean Village 2 has the same facilities as O V 1 but no sport TV entertainment poor, beautiful piano to play but left idle, music very loud on leisure deck but we enjoyed its maiden voyage back in April.Beautiful ship perhaps its teething problems are solved now. Depends if entertainment manager wants to alter things,he seemed happy with the way things were when we spoke to him.

We have just come back from a one week cruise on two in the Med. It was really good and the room was bigger than we expected and we were on level 5 inside cabin. The service was good and the food was as well. Varied and everyone entering an eating area has to have a little antibacterial wash for their hands. The drinks were priced reasonably at 95p for a large glass of fruit juice and £2.80p for a pint of Stella. Children can buy for £15 a juice bottle than they can then get filled up free as many times as they like. All the staff were friendly and polite and willing to help you and give advice. I spoke to a number of the entertainment staff including one who had just transferred to Village two from Village One. They told me that the food and the entertainment was the same on both ships now but Village two was much better appointed with bars and stage areas. If you like dancing and singing then the main shows are for you. Oh, throw in some very good acrobats and juggling, otherwise is was a bit same after the first show. We are not cruising people having done only one before with Thompson. We felt it was too casual at times and preferred the option of dressing for dinner that the Thompson cruise gave. But that is not to say we had a great time on Village 2 and certainly would go again if the destinations were those we wanted to see. Hope this help.

Having just returned from OV2 must agree with GRIFFIN. FOOD luke warm displayed poorly and the in house entertainment was not as good. public seating areas are more comfortable but they soon fill up.making QV2 fell smaller than QV1. Still both ships are great value for money.
