Nothing wrong with the planes, but just keep your fingers crossed on the way back that you are not diverted to Cardiff, as happened to us. We enjoyed a very pleasant 2 weeks cruise in May 08 but unfortunately our journeys home took an extra 8 hours due to the diversion, which was for "operational reasons" No offer of refreshments was made by Thomas Cook, either at Cardiff airport where we spent over 2 hours waiting for coaches, or at our stop on the M4 at Membury apart for a bottle of water. Our son, who was collecting us at Gatwick also had to make 2 trips of around 70 miles to collect us between 4 pm and midnight.
So far no offer of any sort from Thomas Cook for even the extra expense involved although Ocean Village have kindly offered to consider claims,if recipts are provided.
