I very much doubt you'll be allowed on the Bridge. The terrorist attacks of Sept. 11th. 2001 changed all that sort of lark, and unless you're very well connected you won't be doing a Bridge tour, sorry.
Mind you, there are a few 'Boutique Ships' where well-heeled customers(OBVIOUSLY not terroristically-inclined!) are allowed on to the Bridge, but that situation's probably waaay over your and my heads, financially!
Island cruises do tours of the bridge its a package you get drinks and photo taken and you get to go up when ship is coming out of ports up till last year they were doing it they have been doing them since we have done them every year since 200.
Can i just thank everybody for answerin.
Is there anywhere to view at front of ov.
You do NOT have to have loads of money to visit a bridge on a ship,we did just that on thompson destiny it was great all we had to do was fill in a form on the ship requesting a visit to the bridge and we had a guided tour no proble.
I wrote on my post that we viewed the bridge on OV2 along with about 5 other couples. I asked at Reception on OV2 if we could do this, they said I needed to write to the captain to do this. So I asked to borrow a pen and some paper, wrote a quick letter and low and behold we got a note in our cabin door informing us where we ought to be at what time. It was really interesting and informative and lasted about 30 mins. Give it a go, ask at reception and see what they say.
