It depends which cruise you're doing there are so many different ones with Ocean that go around the Caribbean. However depending on what you're used to Barbados is a fantastic place, if you've ever been to the Caribbean it feels like you have stepped in to a postcard it's exactly how you expect it right down to being able to hear Bob Marley & caribbean music in the background (as all the locals have it playing constantly) the whole of the caribbean is like this and if its not your thing the sea's around the islands are calm so stay onboard the ship and soak up some of the Caribbean sun (at least make all the people back home jelous) .

Yes swim with the turtles in Barbados and save loads of money for St Martins, catch the water taxi $5 return and get off on the second stop and shop till you drop. It is known as the duty free island and it certainly is. 3 Tops for $10 200 cigarettes for $15 Jewellery and cameras at ridiculous prices. I had a great time there, hubby or his credit card wasnt very pleased but what bargins.

It seems Royal Caribbean are not just building new ships and refurbishing existing ships but also investing in a $200 million overhaul of their private island Coco Cay. I think this is the best thing that the cruise lines have done in a while and for multi generational family holidays gets a massive thumbs up from me .The 125-acre beach hideaway will be renamed ‘Perfect Day at CocoCay ‘ It will be rolled out in phases, beginning September 2018 and the completion by November 20...
