Ocean Village is a Free Style Cruise so no gala evenings. The entertainment is based around circus acts. So if you do not like the circus you will not appreciate the entertainment. The cabins however are larger than on other cruise ships for a basic grade. If you want good all round entertainment then you can find this on the P &O ships and the smaller cruise lines such as Fred Olsen generally work their socks off in producing a good show.

Just returned from OV1 the ship is already for Christmas with regards to Christmas trees and lights. Our 3 week crossing had 50% repeats and we understood that it was fully booked for Christmas ads the New Year .
