What does the itinerary say? If it says docked at Colon and makes no mention of cruising the Panama Canal, then that means you wil not be going into the canal at all, and will simply dock at Colon. A partial transit will go through one set of locks - the Gatun locks, then turn around at Gatun Lake and exit again.

Yes OV has just been in for a refit, some of the cabins have been updated, a couple of the bars, and some carpets replaced.

Ocean Village just docks at Colon. You will need to take a trip to see the canal.

Hi just back from there it docks at colon we took the ferry boat trip along the canal (Ho how i wish we took the train instead) there was hardly any room to see so you had to be on the first bus there to get afront seat or you hardly saw anything forward there was almost a few fights on this ferry about people standing up to take photos but did not see any staff from OV to calm things down this was done by fellow passengers would not recommend ( except it is the only way to be on the canal) we were almost 2hrs late back on board. Colon as we were driving back through it looked very scary take care if you go ashore independently .

Royal Princess

By Emily Watts

Last week I was lucky enough to experience Royal Princess which was also my first time on a Princess ship. Our cabin was located on Baja deck B215 which had a balcony and for two sharing it is very spacious. Princess prides themselves on the beds and it was probably one of the most comfortable ones I have ever slept on. After embarkation, we...

Sailing like a Celebrity Part ...

As I was only on board for two nights we did not bother with any speciality dining on this occasion so we ate in the main dining room which was amazing. We had opted for Celebrity Select Dining which means we could choose when we wanted to go for dinner and could just turn up or you can pre-book a time on your planner. We pre-booked 6.45pm on both nights. On arrival at the dining room entrance we were escorted to a table towards the back of the restaurant and were immediately greeted by two l...
