Bloggs - Answered a Question by Welsh (05 Feb 09 20:07)

Doh! Depends which way the ship is going - it moves around a lot and likewise the sun. Actually - I've just looked at the forecast and it's going to be cloudy for two weeks from the 23rd June. So - Wilba is quite correct - It makes no odds at all!!! Stupid question.

Not such a dumb question as it happens. Deck 11 cabins have pukka balconies, if rather small. Those on Deck 10 are "hull" cabins - the lower half of the balcony is part of the steel hull, a bit like an open full-width window, useless for sunbathing. Worse, the space it takes has been robbed from the cabin, making it awkward & cramped, ruining what had been a decent cabin. Much more sun - all day - on deck, though it's like an over-crowded seal colony on sea-days. Have a good one, It will be sunny in the Med in June, Bloggs was reading the forecast for Dundee.
