If you have booked the full Princess package, ie flights/cruise, then don't worry. You will be met at the airport and taken to your overnight hotel. The following day you will be collected from your hotel and driven directly to the correct pier at Fort Lauderdale. Full details regarding transfers will be included with your cruise tickets. There always seems to be plenty of check in desks so we have never found embarkation much of a problem. Regards Jean W.
It will give you all the information you need regarding piers etc on your final documentation. Assuming you are disembarking in the US allow about an hour to get through immigration. I can see this is first cruise & I'm sure you will have more questions to ask, so please give us more info i.e. departure point, destination etc. Regards Wilba.
Thanks Wilba but we have booked flights with virgin and cruise with princess, dep Fort Lauderdale for the western carribean and back to Fort Lauderdale. Everything i have read say,s check in is quicker after 2pm so we have booked local transfer to pick us up at 13.00 from hotel on Miami beach does this sound ok? Just need a transfer from airport to our hotel on Miami beach are taxi,s easy enough at the airport? Thanks Julie.
