We are a gay couple and have done over 15 cruises and have found no trouble at all...........every cruise had the "Friends of Dorothy" meetings (on some ships the time and place of the meetings were printed in the daily events lists left in your cabin and on other ships notices were placed on the Meeting Board etc etc. We have met and remained friends with several couples from all over the World we have met on our cruises. Have fun and enjoy the cruise. Regard.

Hi, my girlfriend and I have just been on NCL Jewel. We went to the first Dorothy meeting and there were about 3 male couples (no lesbians so we didn't stop long). We encountered no problems as a couple though. Have a good trip.

Princess Cruises are prob best, they usually have a friend of dorothy group on all cruises. Emerald Princess is good in Aug from Barcelona to Venice. Not gay, but u do get quite a few gay guys on Ocean Village, especially in Nov etc to Caribean. Very friendly and informal style. Also, Im told that Island Star is very friendly and supportive, try June before school holidays.

Friends of Dorothy meet in the Star Bar - right beside Cagney's Steakhouse @ 7pm on the Gem. Lyndsey & Shama - bar staff are lovely & Kenny Stringer the singer guitarist takes requests. I submitted a review on the 20th July but it is only coming up under NCL - all ships. If you do go into the Star Bar please tell Lyndsey & Shama that the lady who wrote things down said 'Hi' and did mention them in her review. Hope you have as much fun as we did. Regards from Ireland.

Themed cruises all the way.

By Ruby Perkins

I had to smile this week when I read about Bonnie Tyler making a guest appearance on board ‘Oasis of the seas’ to help get passengers in the spirit to experience the Solar eclipse. Very clever Royal Caribbean, it’s almost as good as an episode of ‘Homes under the hammer’.Bonnie will be belting out her 80’s hit ‘Total eclipse of the heart’ alongside American rock dance band DNCE in the Aqua Theater about an hour before the eclipse next week. You ...

P&O leave my customers disappo...

By Abbi Varela

Abbi Varela's blog

After recently chatting to a regular customer of mine about the P&O cruise they had just returned from it saddened me that for the first time since I began booking their cruises three years ago this was the first time they had been really disappointed with the cruise.P&O as a cruise line had come highly recommended to them by friends and they were really excited at the prospect of sailing with them for the first time. They have cruised with Princess, with Cunard, with Royal Caribbean ...
