I was on the Sun a few years back - we ate in the Italian twice because it was so good - lovely banquette seating so you are looking out to sea and just wonderful food. Well worth going to - it only costs a few £ for one of the best meals you will ever have. There is a French place too which we heard good reports of. There was a small Tapas bar as well which was definitely free if you wanted a snack, and some healthy eating place [that we skipped!]. There was also a great Teppanyaki - there is always a small cover charge for this as the quality of beef is so high. It is not worth skipping any of these restaurants just to save £10.

Royal Princess

We knew there would not be much for Charlie on board however he had a great time with all his new friends from the Entertainments team. I can honestly say the entertainment team were really friendly and put on some great shows. I loved how the stage rose in the Neptune lounge making it a great area for lots of ...

Two nights on Indy..

By Alison Ranaldi

Alison Ranaldi's blog

Last week I spent two nights on the newly revamped Independence of the Seas.We sailed from Southampton in glorious sunshine to Le Havre and back. This was my third time on board this ever-popular ship and I was keen to see the changes to her after a big refit. We had a balcony cabin on deck 9 which had everything we needed for a comfortable break. I’m not generally a fan of mini-cruises. They offer an excellent way for someone like myself to see the ships but I do not think they are a g...
