We did an Amazon Cruise from Manus Brazil. fantastic. on the old P& O Arcadia. P & O are always most helpful with dietry probloms if you inform them before leaving. As for currency, don't worry, you can get your money on board and they will advise you before each port about the best currency to use. Regards MS.

We have just returned from the Island Star cruise to Brazil. All dietary options are catered for and the dress code; we paid £300 + between six of us(4 female + 2 male) for excess baggage thinking we would dress a bit more formally. Flip flops, trainers, swimming suits, shorts, tee shirts, and occasionally a nice skirt and top, were the most used items. Semi formal dresses, shirt & tie, dinner suit and evening bags, unused. If you are looking for something where you can dress as you would in a 3/4 hotel in Benidorm, then this is the cruise for you.
