Yes they did, we lost out cruise due to the fact the Island star having engine
issues. Within 4 days we had our money back plus a credit note for 25% off a
future cruise. Hats off to Island they were very prompt.
Your question seems a bit odd - what has it got to do with you what island cruises were offering to customers. I assume you weren't effected because you would have known the answer all ready. Get a life mate and worry about your own problems and not other peoples.

Congratulations, it took me a lot longer to get my money back and because it took so long i couldnt afford to book another holiday at 24 hours notice.So yes i was very much affected and didnt get a holiday last year thanks to First Choice and Island cruises . BUT
that wasnt why i asked the question, I read about VIP guests and was just wondering if they treat unfortunate people like you as a VIP guest because i think we both deserve it. I will be taking my cruise in 10 days time with Island cruise and was just wondering. I apologise if my question offended you.

Well potter, we lost our cruise, managed to find another holiday, opted to take £25 per person compensation and one year later still have not received our compensation. I think this is quite bad, but then that's my problem because being such a busy person, I haven't written to Island cruises asking for my compensation - but then shouldn't they have sent the compensation!!!!
