Take care. We were on Island Star 2 weeks ago and while at sea my mobile connected to a US based network! Fortunately my Virgin mobile always sends a greeting text message giving details of charges and it quoted £1 per minute. I don't know where the signal came from (we were well out at sea) but Island Star doesn't have a ship based service. Possibly a US ship with mobile capability was nearby. If you are in sight of land you may get a signal, it depends on the strength of the land based transmitter.

The balcony itself is now within the cabin and has a separator if you wish to use it to separate the balcony from the cabin. You then have a switch that you can push that ...

New Ban hits flights from UK ...

We have all been horrified by the news recently of the terror attack that took place in Westminster and in particular on Westminster Bridge. It was devastating to hear that a Police Office lost his life along with other innocent people who were walking on the Bridge that day. They say the attack took 86 second in total but will have a lifetime effect on many. My Brother in Law works in the Houses or Parliament and, in his words, was told to run for his life when the attack was taking place ne...
