Hi, i was on the Escape a few weeks ago and there was plenty of kids using the pool but they were older kids, 9+, although we didnt use the pool we sat by it on different times and it appeared to be about a meter and a half deep, about waist height on an adult. I did hear the water was cold, but the children didnt seem to mind at all. You'll have a fantastic time. We cant wait to go back. Enjoy!

Is River Cruising Accessible?

By Hannah Wilson

Hannah Wilson's blog

Quite simply, River Cruising is my passion, my favourite type of cruise. i have been lucky enough to do five river cruises to date and the next one can’t come soon enough. Top of my river cruising bucket list has to be the Mekong, gliding through Vietnam and Cambodia – one day I hope! You would think that river cruising would be perfect for people with limited mobility, smaller ships with less passengers on, only three decks etc, but is river cruising really ideal for wheelchair an...
