Q: We are going on the island escape in september, flying from birmingham at 06.00 arriving in palma at approx 09.30. We have been told you cannot go onboard untill 14.00hrs , can anyone tell us if this is correct or not. Thanks.	6 answers 751 views

hi we had the same flight time and by the time you get out of the airport and transfer to the ship and then board it will be later than you think. we were allowed straight on the ship (think it was about noon) and just had a walk round, went for something to eat and though we were given our cabin key our luggage did not arrive for a few hours so we tried to go into palma but was too hot and didnt have any sun tan lotion - will know for next time to be more prepared in our hand luggage :)

u are not allowed liquids over 100mls in u hand luggage unless u but them after securuty check at duty free or u could have boughtthem in the shopping mall at the end of the port

we went to the Beachcomber for a mid morning snack and was already dressed appropriately to be bale to walk off the ship into Palma. It was lovely and then when we got back our cases were waiting for us in our cabin . Enjoy your cruise

if your flight is part of a package with thompson they will take you straight to the ship.

you probably won,t be able to get into a cabin so early so it is worth packing a few necessities in your carry on luggage. Then just lie back on a sun lounger and catch up on your sleep. enjoy your cruise
