I think you'll find ample cabin wardrobe space. In any event, I wouldn't take too many clothes - there is a very good lauderette on the Balmoral with washing drying and ironing facilities.
We sailed for six weeks on Balmoral earlier this year, so consequently we had heaps of luggage.
The cabins were wonderful and we had four wardrobes 12 drawers and plenty of storage and our cases fitted under the beds.
The bathroom too had so much space and we both felt this ship was perfect for world cruising
With an excellent laundry service on cruise liners why the need to take so many clothes we are on Balmoral xmas and new year and will only be taking enough clothes for half the nights onboard.
You will have two double wardobes dressing table with 4/8 drawers hanging space in lobby entrance
bedside drawers. space under bed for your suitcases to hold extras. free laundry plus excellent ships laundry / dry cleaning been on for five weeks no problem.
Having read the 4 answers from previous passengers who sailed on the Balmoral, I agree with all their comments which are correct. I do not think that you will have anything to worry about, especially having a cabin on Lido Deck. We sailed on the Balmoral (BL017) to the North Cape during August 2008, to which I wrote comments in answer to your reservations re- wardrobe space, also lack of bathroom cabinet space, which I hope you received. Have a good cruise and enjoy it. Good Luck.
We sailed on the Balmoral on 3rd August 2008 (BL017) to the North Cape, to which I wrote a review (as you were probably aware, also answering your question as to whether there was adequate wardrobe space, also cabinet space in the bathroom, which I hope that you received and helped you make a decision). I agree with all the comments by the previous passengers with their answers, which are all correct. I hope that you enjoy the world cruise and I do not think that you will be disappointed, especially having a cabin on Lido Decck.
We were also on Balmoral to North Cape in August ( Coral deck) and were pleased with wardrobe space, esp after Black Prince. We have booked in Feb as far as Singapore so will have to keep in mind that we will be flying home.
