Been on the Braemar two years ago, nice ship, good food and staff very friendly but I found her very unstable going from Southampton as she is so small and for that reason I wouldnt go on her again.Just been on a larger ship and what a difference!,didnt feel a thing, think the Braemar ok if you are in the Caribbean but I felt terrible with the movement so if you think you felt the other one I would definately stay clear!
The Braemar is a nice ship and keeps up the high Fred. Olsen standards. I haven't been on board since she was "stretched" but prior to that I felt that the passenger/space ratio was a bit tight. She is not as stable as, say the Black Watch, Boudicca or Balmoral and is very much a Caribbean cruise ship (where she spends each Winter). The Balmoral is significantly larger and has more facilities. However, I'm sure you will have an enjoyable cruise and it is good to explore contrasting ships.
