Andrews www.CRUISE.co.uk - Answered a Question by Porter (09 Jun 08 09:46)

In our Fred.Olsen Cruise Collection we highlighed the Caribbean Christmas cruise on Braemar departing on the 22nd December 2008 which is 18 nights. There is also Caribbean Christmas on the Boudicca departing 18th December 2008 which is 15 nights - this was not in our Fred.Olsen Cruise Collection. We do not include all of the Fred.Olsen cruises in this publication just a selection of departures. There is availability on both of these cruises.

Miller - Answered a Question by Porter (06 Jun 08 09:20)

My Fred.Olsen brochure shows "Boudicca" 18 December 14 nights and "Braemar" 23 Decemenber 16 nights both in the Caribbean. Both are fly cruises and these departure dates will be ex-UK airports. The 2008/2009 brochure has all the details.

Mr Miller answer contrdicts my findings The latest Fred Olsen cruise collection 2008/9 magazine shows Breamar Christmas Carribbean 18 nights 22nd Dec 08, and no mention of the "Boudicca" This magazine was forward by www.CRUISE.co.uk, post delivery one week ago by a Cruise World agent Boudicca does not appear to be doing the Christmas carribbean although was mentioned in the early year. ?????????? Can some body tell what is correct.???????????????

Boudicca is in the Caribbean all Winter so logic dictates that it will be cruising there. I agree, telephone Fred. Olsen 901473 742424, obtain their brochure or go to their websie (fredolsencruises.com.uk) .

Port Or Starboard? Whats t...

By Gina Rowan

I wish I had a pound for every time I have been asked this question. I could have sailed around the world in Luxury! Aah yes! but would I choose Port or Starboard for my cabin? Or left side versus the right side of the ship?I suppose it depends on where you’re headed. I know that quite a few seasoned cruisers swear by the Starboard side. Although it really depends on what type of cruise you are on.For instance, if you are sailing in one direction, North or West generally people pr...

A Majestic Atrium the heart of the ship.

By DJ Weatherall

DJ Weatherall's blog

Majestic and her stunning atrium is the heart of the shipThe Plaza on Majestic is on Deck 5 – from here you can access 3 decks either by marble staircase or Panoramic Lifts – it is without doubt the heart of the ship. There are restaurants and bars, cafe’s and lounges, speciality tea and coffee takeaway or sit down areas and the all important shops.I know some lines prefer to have a royal promenade that runs along the centre of the ship – but Majestic just like Royal a...

MSC Loyalty Match scheme a hit!!

By Brad Smith

Brad Smith's blog

MSC have launched a new incentive to attract new customers and reward existing clients with an offer of matching customers loyalty level with competitors. Rather that just stop at matching cruise line loyalty levels, they have gone as far as matching loyalty levels for hotel chains and tour operators too.Clever move in my opinion, as I have many customers that specifically stick to a specific company as their loyalty levels are at the top level, so they love the perks they receive from their ...
