If both sectors are with the same airline, your luggage will be checked straight through. You won't have to collect it at Frankfurt, just get yourself post-haste to the next flight, following signs to 'connecting flight'. We changed planes at Dusseldorf once with no problems. Expect all German airports are similarly efficient!
