What a lovely friend! Don't know if you've been on QM2 it is a beautiful ship .. not sure about 'bridge visits' the usual objections re security are generally offered. I'd try and speak to someone at P&O Southampton in guest relations, or else have a quiet word with your friend's husband to be - it could be easier for him to have a word when on board.

Try and get room credit added to there account my wife got some from her brothers for her last birthday, and your friend can spend it as they wish? You can pay it by phone with your card, but you will need a booking reference or cruise and cabin number best of luck?

I would suggest you ring Cunard not P & O. The likelihood of a bridge visit down the Solent is poor because the pilot will be onboard and for several other reasons when leaving port. You might consider a big banner or some fireworks at Victoria Park, Netley or Cowes Road, Hook beach, just make sure the the husband knows about it because "Lifeboat Drill" can take place whilst going down the Solent and he can take them both out of line to watch... Good Luck ..Neil.

Arrange a spa massage for her. I had 3 in January - it was heaven. The Thai massage was amazing. You can go on line and book directly with the spa.
