It is good to be on a high deck like deck 8 although the b5/b6 cabins are obstructed by lifeboats, if you are doing a transatlantic then that shouldn't put you off, it is nice to be able open you balcony door and get fresh air in, if you want a full view then i suggest you go for a higher grade.

We were b5 caribean, no problems, restricted view but not much. once at the destination the tenders are launched so you get a vie.
