Q: Hello, I am interested in a Cunard Cruise because some (older) friends recommended it very highly. Me and a mate want a nice relaxing holiday but we're only 22 and single, will we be out of place on a Cunard Cruise?

Thanks

we really enjoyed a QM2 transatlantic, where you will meet a very varied age group. We.ve also been on 2 QV trips, and one thing about cunard is you will meet some great characters, age is not an issue. There is loads of fun to be had till the wee small hours. As a Scot, I can tell you we had one of the best New Year party nights ever on QV, Dec 08. Go for it. Peter & Morven, Ayr. Scotland.

I am sure you will enjoy Cunard and not be out of place, and as an oldie the more young people the better.

Had a fabulous transatlantic cruise on QM2 October 2007, and although felt out of place at first soon forgot about it and thoroughly enjoyed the experience, plenty to do, huge library, and exploring the ship was wonderful and I would definately cruise Cunard again, go for it, and ignore the 'snobs'. Kind regards, a very common, but young at heart, fifty one year old.

we have sailed cunard recently, the age range varies widely, and there are activities to suit all tastes and ages, we were not looked down on by anyone, and the staff and service are exceptionally high quality. our ages are early 20's and early 40's both single and we both have different tastes, yet we both had a chilled relaxed holiday and felt cunard and cruising were ideal for us both. Go on, be brave, try cunard and cruising once and you will be hooked, honestly.

just do it. You will not look back there is lots to do and many different people from all around the world to meet. If you were the shy and retiring type you would not even be looking at a cruise, you are young extrovert and outgoing. there is drinking partying plenty to do, go and try it if you hate it dont do it again - or try ocean village or carnival full of kids!!!

Dont do it ! I am late 30's and have been on 2 recent cruises with Cunard and NEVER again ! You will hate being on a ship with OAP's who look down on you! Go on a cruise but not Cunard.

If you opt for the QM2 you might enjoy the G32 nightclub. It's a great venue and a lot of the staff, singers and dancers hang out there after the show.

There is of course the occasional 22 year old that loves Cunard!;-)

"Straight men" .... was that remark necessary ? I can assure you the pink pound is spent everywhere, even on Ocean Village.

My point was that young, straight men tend to be looking for similarly aged young women and a party scene. They won't find that on Cunard.
