On embarkation wheelchair users are given priority and assistance if required. On disembarking, provided QM2 are aware you are a wheelchair user, assistance is given to your car or transport, but sometimes you can have quite a wait depending on the number of other wheelchair users aboard.

In answer to your question, regarding useing a wheelchair, embarkation was very easy, but going ashore was another matter, we received no assistance going ashore. Where the gangway was stepped, I had to carry the wheelchair off, this is the FIRST and LAST time we will ever use CUNARD. Go on to P/O or PRINCESS, where they wont let you push a wheelchair down on your own, let alone carry one. Also going ahore in the tenders was no problem at all.

Sailing like a Celebrity Part ...

By Molly McIntyre

As I was only on board for two nights we did not bother with any speciality dining on this occasion so we ate in the main dining room which was amazing. We had opted for Celebrity Select Dining which means we could choose when we wanted to go for dinner and could just turn up or you can pre-book a time on your planner. We pre-booked 6.45pm on both nights. On arrival at the dining room entrance we were escorted to a table towards the back of the restaurant and were immediately greeted by two l...
