Following is their smoking policy for 2008: "For the comfort of all our guests, lifts and certain sections of public rooms have been designated as no-smoking areas. There is a no-smoking policy in all QUEEN MARY 2's restaurants. QUEEN ELIZABETH 2 has smoking sections in all restaurants (except Princess Grill) and public rooms. Guests who enjoy pipes or cigars are accommodated in the Churchill's Cigar Lounge aboard QUEEN MARY 2, and the Chart Room, Golden Lion Pub, and designated areas in the Crystal Bar aboard QUEEN ELIZABETH 2. We do ask you to refrain from smoking pipes and cigars in other public areas. Please note, at printing smoking areas for QUEEN VICTORIA have not been determined." .

You must remeber brocures were possibly writen/printed prior to the BIG BAN. However hubby and I have both just returned from a cruise and I actually commented about people smoking in allocated areas on the ship (sorry) and the stuart said I must remeber we a re not in England now (where the ban is) so I would suggest you contact your travel agent/shipping company to stop any more worry. You could always give up. I did a 30+ day smoker, but you need to want to. good luck.

Royal Caribbean. Something for...

By Dean Michaelides

Every single year its seems like more and more ships are being released. 3-6 star 300 passengers to 6000 passengers there are hundreds of cruises out there now. My question is can anyone beat Royal Caribbean and do they have a ship for every one?I recently had a training with a Royal Caribbean rep and she advised there aim would be for cruise customers never to look elsewhere when it comes to cruising. A bit like Dubai for Holidays. There idea it to have such a wide range within there fleet f...
