I've been on P&O (Mainly), Celebrity, Cunard, NCL & Costa (Costa - once only and never again). In my opinon they are all much the same regardng onboard prices. Any line charging in anything but Sterling will at this time be relatively expensive. However, when you take the price of a cruise it really doesn't make much of a difference whichever cruise line you chose. Regards Andy.

BLYTH - Answered a Question by Sellwood (03 Feb 09 11:02)

By the end of this year we will have had 12 cruises with Celebrity and we never normaly do more than a half day trip, occassionally a bit longer but my wife had a stroke 15 years ago and although keeps fine she doesn't like sitting about in buses/trains or taxis for hours. We have just booked so far two trips for our next cruise and it only cost us in total 49 each. A lot depends on what type of trip you book we had a great one in Melbourne on a restuarant tramcar it was pricey but it is the only one in the world,s so it was claimed and so far not been proven otherwise, but we were glad we did that but it only lasted 4.5 hours in total, so not to bad, 1 hours on the tram and other visits 3.5 hours.
