There are cancellations which happen from time to time with all cruise lines. The reasons are various and include the need to repair, impracticality and unfeasibility. When you run a complicated business like theirs alterations are possible at some time or other. You, unfortunately, have been affected twice and we are all sorry but it is better than when they decide to do a small change to an itinerary after you have booked to a port you really wanted to visit when you have little or no redress. .... RCI have just cancelled the Radiance sailings in South America too for 09/10 so don't rebook on that!

Hi! We too had a RCI cruise cancelled last year for Singapore - Dubai. We refused the offer of refund of deposit. They then offered us Med cruises for the same time of year. We refused again & then they offered the choice of any of the Far Eastern Itinerary for about six months later from which we chose the same cruise as our original booking. Stick at 'em & don't take no for an answer. Good Luck. Wilba.

And after asking for my deposit back, almost three weeks later, nothing. My travel agent, after ringing three times, was told they wait for a number of cancellations and then orgnise refunds in bulk. Truthfully a dispicable procedure as my travel agent agreed and told them so. I rnag them. They gave me a different story and eventually agreed to organise the refund there and then. I spoke to customer services but she was neither use nor ornament. 'I can't do any thing', she said 'I just answer the phone!!!'. I have written a letter so see what they say.
