You are allowed to take on 2 bottles of wine per stateroom on the first day of the cruise only. If you drink this in your cabin there is no corkage,if you takeit to a restaurant or bar there is $25 corkage per bottle. You cannot take on any other alcohol. Bar prices are reasonable - you can buy a good bottle of wine for $35-$40. Remember 15% gratuity added to every drink you buy. They do a great sampler selection of 6 martini's for $9.50 - which gives you 3 drinks each. A bargain.

The celebrity and rci policy on taking your own alchol on board is strict, i think their prices for all drinks on board are high plus service charge, if you are thinking of trying to take drink onboard at a port , forget it, as everything is screened on returning to the ship.

We photographed the cabin bar list. A half bottle of wine in the cabin bar - $19 US, soft drinks $1.95, spirits $5-$6. A glass of a decent Chardonnay in the lounges $8, similar of Benedictine $6. You can take 2 bottles of wine on board at the start. That said, the baggage is handed to the longshoremen before checkin in Vancouver, so it does not go through company scanning.
