BLYTH - Answered a Question by e perfect (07 Feb 09 17:37)

I will be on Solstice in April and the Aquaclass is sort of the same as Concierge but with all the access to the full aqua facilities plus your own private diningroom - blu. If you look at my website http://billblyth.co.uk you can see quite a few shots of the ship including your restuarant I am working on more pics from various sources at the moment but it is still a very new type ship which with the clients in the States is going down well with most review score 5 and 5 plus with one or two 4's so something to look forward to. Keep an eye on the reviews I have seen 1 or 2 who only gave the Aqua facilities[including the blu restuarant] a 4 and see if future reviews if they elaborate more or perhaps increase the rating up from a 4, best wishes.

Many thanks for your info. Could you tell me if it is anytime dining in Blu?? We have booked Aqua class and go in June [15th]. I believe that Blu will be our restaurant. Can we dine at any time?? Also, do you know if full English breakfast is available in Blu?? Any other info would be gratefully received.

Sorry just back from Solstice but I never asked that question best idea would be to post on the site and see what reply you get but all those I spoke to enjyed the restuarant compared with some comments I saw which said it was not very good and a bit cramped, but sorry that not a lot of help... Bill.

I should have added you are in Aqua class so can have your breakfast brought to your room just fill in the form and you can eat it out on your balcony/or oyur room at your leisure. The full english is available in the Oceanview Grill so no reason why it is not available in the Blu. There is english and american bacon; eggs scrambled or fried or soft/hard boiled; beans etc We just settle for a good breakfast and then our main meal at night - 2nd sitting. We do on the odd ocassion go for the afternoon tea.

Have you never heard of punctuation? A few commas and full stops plus some capital letters would help tremendously. The standard of writing on this web-site is getting worse and far from 'perfect'. It's hard to believe that contributors have completed at least 11 years at school - what a waste. One must allow for typo errors - we all do it but the above question is a very good example of extremely poor punctuation.

It's a shame that people like you lead such a sad life that you have got nothing better to do than make comments like those above.

I agree with Austin, Mr or Mrs Bloggs, Surely this site is to answer peoples questions and not critisize them over full stops or commas Etc. Not everyone is well educated other wise the world would be a sad place. Sorry to say I am also from your home town and I am disapointed in your reply to the Adams question. Get a life.

We were on Solstice last week, albeit not in an Aqua Class stateroom, although from what I was told they are basically the same as the balcony class cabins, which are amazing. The facilities are first class on Solstice whereever you are and the Blu resturant is very eligant and the food of a high quality - so I was told by fellow cruisers, mostly American. The US dollar is standard although you don't need money - even the casino can come off your sea pass.
