Azamara dress code is 'country club casual' - thre are no formal nights and definitely no requirement for a tuxedo. Yes there is a band in the evening and a dancing floor and many dance themed activities.
Thank you too, Great answer on both counts!!!! Mervyn.
Hi Mervyn, There are two areas for dancing, a small intimate area in the Looking Glass Lounge and a larger area in the Cabaret Lounge where there is just enough room for a few set routines with Foxtrot, Waltz and Quickstep and certainly enough for latin. I did not take my DJ last time and I am not going to next time either. If there is a group of you going then some groups do take them for special nights but the general wear is, as it says on the tin, smart casual. Yes, people do make an effort to wear nice clothes and you will see several in jacket and tie but nobody in T shirt or jeans at all. So pack some nice gear but leave your DJ in the wardrobe at home. .... Neil.
Thanks a lot Neil/Ida. Your response is most welcome - lighter suitcases and dancing to look forward to; what more could one ask! Mervyn & Pauline.
