Love - Answered a Question by Young (30 Apr 09 21:29)

It's a bit late to answer this as your trip has been and gone - we were on it too and had a fabulous time - it was our first cruise so we had nothing to compare it with - but hope you enjoyed it too!!! We had a balcony cabin but found we didn't use it that much - though it was nice to have it. Great to open that door in the mornings.

Neil & Ida Down - Answered a Question by Young (05 Feb 09 19:42)

As nobody has answered I will because we love Azamara. If you were pleased with Celebrity then you should love Azamara. It is slightly more upmarket and nothing happens at a rush but the ambiance and the pace of living says it all. As you seem to have been with Celebrity quite a few times you should be Select or Elite status so make sure that your agent has told them tis and on the first night onboard instead of being given a time to dine in the normal restaurant you should be offered a table in one of the speciality restaurants and if you are not ask for it. Well worth that extra (free) visit, you will be asked if you mind a $5 tip being added. Great staff and great ships. .......Neil.

Ive had a great time!...

By Sam Smith

Sam Smith's blog

It seems to me these days that people spend so much time moaning and whingeing about this and that, nothing works like it should and nothing is ever good enough, I thought it nice to share the thoughts of this refreshingly positive chap recently stranded on the NCL Star out in Australia.Francis Lahue and his wife were passengers of the Norwegian Star as it faced engine problems last Friday morning after leaving port. The luxury cruise ship was forced to bob without direction 30km off the coas...

Ships Collide !

By Richard Smith

Richard Smith's blog

Watch this video on YouTube.I was shocked earlier this week to read a story of the new Seabourn Encore ship colliding with another ship.It turns out that the collision was minor and thankfully no-one was hurt but what left me wondering was how something like this could happen in the first place. The new ship was docked in Timaru, New Zealand at the time and was actually delayed in departure due to the strong winds there. The ship ended up breaking it’s moorings due to the strong winds an...
